This joint Action Against Hunger, WaterAid, and SHARE report assesses national nutrition and WASH policies in 10 countries to identify gaps and ways of working. The report highlights where there has been effective integration between the two sectors at the policy level and how improvements can be made. It includes an analysis of multilateral, bilateral, and private foundations’ donor initiatives and to what extent WASH has been incorporated in their nutrition investments. The authors assert that the integration of action on nutrition and WASH is fundamental to ensure nutrition outcomes, and present a toolkit of practical actions governments and donors can start taking to improve integration.
