Listening to Farmers and Mothers
Webinar: USAID SPRING will host a webinar to present cases where value chains analyses from agriculture programming and social and behavior change (SBC) tools from health programming have been combined to enhance access and consumption of nutrition foods. In Sierra Leone, SPRING adapted the value chain approach to identify constraints and opportunities to improved performance or competitiveness of nutrition-sensitive agriculture, and simultaneously adapted SBC tools to include key agriculture practices to identify barriers and enablers to the adoption of improved household-level nutrition practices. This approach allowed SPRING to develop a tailored set of communication materials to affect change at both household and market levels.
