Aligning the Food System to Meet Dietary Needs: Fruits and Vegetables

June 2 - 3: The World Food Center, in collaboration with the Program in International and Community Nutrition and the USAID Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Collaborative Research on Horticulture, at UC Davis, is hosting a workshop with the aim of discussing 1) optimal nutrition and the consumption of fruits and vegetables, 2) improving the availability of fruits and vegetables and, 3) metrics to evaluate and enhance diet quality. The objective is provide recommendations for development strategies to improve the availability, affordability, and demand of fruits and vegetables. The workshop is meant for attendees from academia, government, industry, and NGOs.
